Learn how to advocate for yourself and other trans people within a healthcare setting. This event builds from our previous training but anyone interested in the topic is welcomed regardless wheter they attended the previous training or not.
This training covers:
- Advocacy go-over (to refresh from previous session and to make sure that new people are up to date)
- Mental Health First Aid
-Running an Advocacy Service
This is a space for all people who define themselves as trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, someone who is questioning their gender identity, or someone whose assigned gender is different to the one they are or identify as. We have a limited amount of spaces available, but under exceptional circumstances we will consider allowing cis people to enter the space (carers of trans people etc.). However, this is not a trans 101.
