The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has negatively impacted millions of workers in the United States and partner countries. After years of pressure and discontent amongst communities hurt by NAFTA and NAFTA-style trade deals, trade is now front and center in the eyes of the American public.

One of President Trump’s biggest campaign promises was to renegotiate NAFTA to benefit working people and their families. In spite of this, most of the people President Trump has nominated to his cabinet, who will be leading these negotiations, are the same multimillionaires and billionaires who supported TPP and NAFTA-style trade agreements.
