Join the ANSWER Coalition Los Angeles Contingent as we march for Women’s Rights on Women’s Equality Day!

Women’s Equality Day is a national day of celebration commemorating the passage of the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, granting the right to vote for women. While we celebrate this victory and the women who have led the struggle for equal treatment of women and women’s rights, we also know that we must continue this fight for our rights, which are viciously under attack by the new administration. Women's Equality Day is not just a celebration of gains; it is a celebration of the strength and militancy of women leading the struggle.

We demand equal paying jobs, housing, reproductive healthcare/preventive health care, education, amnesty for all immigrants and an end to violence. We demand an end to racism, LGBTQ bigotry, and misogyny.
