L4RJ-La Sex and Body Positivity Zine Workshop

At Casa Solidaria Del Sur - Solidarity House of the South, Los Angeles (CA), United States
On 19th August 2017 noon - 3 p.m.

Description

The Latinas4RJ- LA Chapter invites you to participate in a discussion on how the reproductive justice framework promotes culture shift towards sex and body positivity and advocates for resources our community needs to support our decisions and allow us to thrive. After the platica, we will ask participants to create content for a zine which we will be compliling and publishing at the end of our Zine Tour.

Please use ticket link to reserve your space.

**Submissions for the zine are voluntary and can be collages, photographs, poems or drawings.

Snacks and childcare will be provided.

We are asking for $5-10 donation to cover the cost of materials but will not turn any one away for lack of funds.

About the L4RJ-LA Zine Tour :
This is the third of a six-part L4RJ-LA Chapter Zine Tour. Each of the workshops will be hosted in a different neighborhood of Los Angeles and will focus on the intersectional issues of reproductive justice. Our goal is to create spaces to discuss the ways in which these issues impact our Latinx community and collectively create a zine that documents our work and makes it accessible to the masses.
