Health and Immigration: Know your Rights!

"Can I apply for health insurance for my child if I am undocumented? Will I get in trouble if I go to a march or protest? Will I lose my DACA status? What health services are available to immigrant families?"-- These are just a few of the questions we have heard from community members given the intensifed attacks on healthcare and immigrats by the current administration.

In an effort to fight back against the fear and hate, California Latinas for Reproductive Justice is inviting you to participate in a Know Your Rights workshop with leading organizations in the fields of immigrant justice and health justice. Our partners at #FightForOurHealth coalition will lead the session on knowing your healthcare rights. We will also have Marcela from Immigrant Youth Coalition presenting on our rights as immigrants to organize in defense of our families and communities.

We will provide lunch and snacks for all participants. Child care and translation support will also be available.
