Updated Information July 8th!
Women’s Rights are Human Rights
Please join us for four days of resistance in support of Women’s Rights as we protest the 2017 LPGA Women’s Open being held at Trump National Golf Course. This is not a protest against the talented women golfers who have worked hard to be part of this very important championship but rather to alert Trump and his administration that we will not stand-by while they attempt to turn back the clock on women's rights to comprehensive affordable healthcare, freedom of reproductive choice, pay parity and workplace equality. When women’s rights suffer, human rights suffer!
Here is our action plan:
July 13 to July 16 - Ongoing protest at the I-78 and Rattlesnake Bridge Road Overpass (exit 26 on I-78)
All traffic for the LPGA will be funneled through this interchange. We encourage you to bring your signs and show your feelings toward Trump and his administration. Gates open at 6:30 am. Peak times are 7am - 10am and 3:30 pm to 7pm. This has potential for high visibility! Both incoming and outgoing LPGA traffic AND commuter traffic will be using this interchange. (Please consider carpooling as there is very little parking. Also, don’t forget water and sunscreen).
July 15 - People’s Motorcade (9am - 11am) and Rally for Women’s Rights (11am - 1pm)
Meet at parking lot across from 1005 Route 28, Branchburg, NJ 08876 to decorate your cars with protest signs. The Motorcade will drive past the front entrance to Trump National and parking entrance to the Tournament. After two loops we will rally in the Free Speech Zone at the Clarence Dillion Library (corner of Lamington Rd and Route 206) in support of Women’s Rights.
July 16 - Secret Event to Support Women’s Rights
