Saturday 1st July, 1pm: Where Pride Began - Discover the Queer History of Carnaby Street with the Diana F+
It’s Pride in London’ time - but what is it all about and where did it all begin? Find out by joining our very special Diana F+ workshop in collaboration with ‘Queer Tours of London - A Mince Through Time’. On this one-of-a-kind photo-tour you will get first-hand information about Carnaby’s rich history of LGBTQIA+ arts, activism, sass, cabaret and more from people who were there at the time. Your best photographs from the tour will be showcased in our Soho Gallery Store in a very special exhibition starting Friday 7th July, where you are all kindly invited to join.
This workshop is £20 and includes the loan of a Diana F+ camera, a roll of Lomography X-Pro Slide 200 film, processing and digital scans of your images.
You must pre-book as spaces are limited, please call 02074341466 or email queertoursoflondon@gmail.com.
50% of all profits will be donated to LGBTQIA+ charity ‘Outcome’ (part of MIND Islington).
