Activist organisation Doetank PEER and the Feminist Club Amsterdam are organizing their third feminist film screening! In collaboration with political and cultural centre ACU, we are proud to be one of the first to screen the new documentary 'Genderbende'.
In collaboration with production company HALAL and BNNVARA, director Sophie Dros tells the compelling story of five young people who don’t necessarily identify as a man or woman, but somewhere in between. It deals with the confrontations they experience being ‘different’, but at the same time being proud of who they are as a person. With curiousity, interest and the misunderstandings of everything that fall outside of the norm, these young people tell a strong and inspiring story about acceptance. (Dutch language, with English subtitles)
