GIRLS <3 GIRLS
Despite women slowly gaining more screen time on TV and in cinemas, the representation of queer women and lesbians in films is often lacking or reduced to one-sided stereotypes. But the real life experiences are nothing but one-sided. This selection of short films curated by the Berlin Feminist Film Week is a celebration of girls* who love girls* and explores the plethora of elements of loving women: the coming out, the search for identity, the first kiss, the romance, the hardship, the stigma and the sex.
