This talk is going to bring you through the experience of being an entrepreneur from the very beginnings of overcoming the fear of quitting your job and starting up to the point of having to make the decision of closing down. It will cover the ups and downs of the entrepreneurship journey, building educational products with kids and for kids, launching a product worldwide and lessons learned along the way.

Cristina Luminea is the Head of Innovation at Singlepoint. Previously she was a partner in EuropeanPioneers, an Europe wide virtual incubator supporting 25 companies with €4.5mil. She was also the founder and CEO of ThoughtBox, an award winning company using technology and Gameful Learning to develop educational experiences which engage young audiences. Cristina has two Honours degrees in Software Development, a Bachelor degree in International Marketing and a Research Master Degree in Engineering.
In 2014 she was featured by Silicon Republic in Women Invent: 100 top women in science, technology, engineering and maths and by the Independent in Top 30 under 30: The brightest young entrepreneurs who are putting ideas to work (2013).
