Stand in Awe of all Mná and show your support for reproductive rights this Paddy's Day!
The London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign will take part in the official St Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 19th, and we need YOU to march with us and help raise awareness for our campaign.
To celebrate the great women of Irish history and mythology, our parade entry, "In Awe of Mná", presents a colourful exploration of the contributions of women to Irish society. From Ireland's first abortionist, St. Brigid, to tireless suffragette, Hanna Sheehy-Skeffington, to revolutionary nationalist, Constance Markievicz, to the Irish women of today who strive for a fairer society, our vibrant entry will showcase a timeline of inspiring Irish women.
We need participants to march, hold banners and get the crowd engaged with our message. If you are an artist/designer/creative person and can help with making banners etc. please let us know via email to londonirisharc@gmail.com with the subject like PADDY'S DAY
All welcome, it's a family friendly event and we'd be delighted to see some families and kids who believe in strong Irish women to march with us too.
