Day Without a Woman: Walk-out to Teach-in

On March 8th International Women's Day, the WomensMarch in partnership with Strike4democracy and International Women’s Strike have called us into action, to promote equity, justice and the human rights of women, through a one-day demonstration of economic solidarity. https://www.womensmarch.com/faq#adwaw

Lets join this international movement by staging a walk-out and teach-ins outside at Voorhees Mall. Lets mobilize and organize to continue showing our united dissent from the Trump administration that is aiming to divide us and oppress us.

1. Wear RED in solidarity with A Day Without A Woman
2. Print out this poster and place it on your office door/window:

3. Avoid shopping for one day (with exceptions for small, women- and minority-owned businesses).
****4. Walk-out of class, work, homes and walk into a Teach-in****

We ask students, faculty, & staff of Rutgers and New Brunswick residents to walk-out of classes, offices,dorms, homes, businesses wherever they are at 2pm on Wednesday March 8th and march down the streets into Teach-ins at Voorhees Mall in College Ave.
