10. September 2016 bis 15. Januar 2017 im Kupferstichkabinett

In den Studiensälen des Kupferstichkabinetts der Kunsthalle Bremen wird begleitend zur Ausstellung "A Marquee Piece of Sod. Filme zum Ersten Weltkrieg von Mary Reid Kelley" (bis 19. Februar 2017) unter dem Titel „And then a Plank in Reason, broke“ eine Auswahl von Papierarbeiten zum Themenkreis des Ersten Weltkriegs von Künstlerinnen und Künstlern wie Max Beckmann, Ernst Barlach, Otto Dix und Käthe Kollwitz gezeigt. Die aus der Sammlung des Kupferstichkabinetts stammenden Werke wurden von Mary Reid Kelley ausgewählt und treten mit ihren eigenen Arbeiten in einen Dialog.
