Vortrag und Diskussion mit Autorin Michaela Wünsch und
Rapperin Sookee
HipHop gilt als sexistischer und homophober
als andere Musikgenres, aber auch als politischer. Dabei wird er vor allem als politisches Sprachrohr von eher männlichen als weiblichen Afroamerikaner*innen verstanden. Der Vortrag wird diese Vorwürfe wie Ansprüche, die vor allem weiße Rezipierende an HipHop richten, anhand aktueller Tendenzen im Mainstream HipHop diskutieren und auf die komplexe Rolle von Akteurinnen* im Hiphop zu verweisen.
Rapperin Sookee gibt dabei Einblicke in ihre Perspektiven
auf HipHop als politische Künstlerin.
