Zum neuen Strukturwandel der öffentlichen Sphäre

Noch nie war die meinungsbildende Öffentlichkeit pluraler als heute. Und noch nie schien sie sich mehr aufzulösen. Auf Facebook, Youtube und Twitter kann jede/r Nachrichten und Meinungen publik machen, sie teilen, kommentieren, kritisieren. Gleichzeitig erleben wir eine Zerfaserung in digitale Paralleluniversen. Was also zeichnet die Diskurse der digitalen Gesellschaft aus? Was können wir tun, um digitale Öffentlichkeit zu demokratisieren? Und wie begegnen wir dem aggressiven bis offen hetzerischen Ton, der die Debatten im digitalen Raum oft kennzeichnet? Wir befragen die Medienwissenschaftlerin Caja Thimm zum digitalen Strukturwandel der Öffentlichkeit.
