As part of the 7th Annual National Latina Week of Action co-hosted with sister organizations National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health and Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights, CLRJ's Latinas 4 Reproductive Justice-Los Angeles will be hosting a plática titled, "Latinx Power 2016: Claiming our Latinx Power, Telling our Stories." This informal dialogue will be focused around building our Latinx power here in Los Angeles through civic engagement and grassroots organizing.
The event will also include a panel of civic engagement professionals and local community leaders to share their personal and organizational experience building community based campaigns and movements.
Latinas 4 Reproductive Justice- Los Angeles Chapter (L4RJ-LA) is a part of California Latinas for Reproductive Justice Community Engagement Program. L4RJ works to develop Latinx leaders who are empowered in RJ Herstory to advocate for ourselves, our families, and our communities. We currently have chapters in Los Angeles, Bay Area, and San Diego County.
