Jazz Art Posters !!!

Wie letztes Jahr sind wir wieder am jazzahead!-Festival beteiligt. Diesmal mit einer kleinen, aber feinen Präsentation: „Jazz Art Posters. 50 Jahre Montreux Jazz Festival“. Zur Eröffnung spielt der Genfer Pianist Gabriel Zufferey: Donnerstag, 14. April, 19 Uhr. Eintritt frei!

Seit fünfzig Jahren findet im Schweizer Montreux ein inzwischen weltberühmtes Jazz Festival statt. Das im Jahr 1967 gegründete Festival hat sich mit 250.000 Besuchern jeden Sommer auf internationaler Ebene zu einem der wichtigsten kulturellen Festivals der Welt entwickelt. In diesem unverwechselbaren Rahmen haben bereits Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Prince, David Bowie und auch Stevie Wonder legendäre Konzerte gegeben. Und jedes Jahr erscheint ein neues Jazzposter, das von Künstlern, Designern und Musikern gestaltet wurde und wird. Die Weserburg stellt zum Jubiläum die bislang erschienenen Plakate in ihrer Gesamtheit vor. http://www.weserburg.de/index.php?id=898
