Description
Wir wollen euch den für den Oscar und Golden Globe nominierten Film „Mustang“ aus dem Jahr 2015 zeigen. Das Familiendrama der Regisseurin Deniz Gamze Ergüve begleitet fünf freiheitsliebende Schwestern, die bei ihrem konservativen Onkel in einem türkischen Dorf aufwachsen. Ihr Zuhause entwickelt sich zunehmend zu einem Gefängnis. Die Mädchen versuchen auf unterschiedlichste Weise daraus auszubrechen und kämpfen um ihr Recht auf Selbstbestimmung und Selbstverwirklichung.
Im Anschluss sprechen wir mit ExpertInnen über Zwangsheirat und Unterdrückung von Mädchen und Frauen in Europa. - Kommt vorbei!
