Description
8 maart is het internationale vrouwendag. Omdat deze dag in Amsterdam wel wat meer op de kaart mag komen te staan slaat Mama Cash de handen ineen met verschillende instanties in Amsterdam om met Meer dan Muze de vrouwelijke maker in al haar vormen onder de aandacht te brengen.
Op de avond zelf zullen we Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides vertonen. Niet alleen is deze verfilming van Jeffrey Eugenides' gelijknamige boek gemaakt door een vrouw; ook is het verhaal een onderzoek naar de duistere kanten van het zijn van een jong meisje.
Tevens exposeren we de hele maand maart kunst van kunstenaressen Maria & Sophie en is onze wisselfles de Queen Bee van The Sisters Brewery.
The Virgin Suicides start 21:30 en is gratis voor We Are Public-leden.
