Eröffnung "Videokunst Förderpreis"

Description

Die Kunsthalle Bremen präsentiert vom 20. Februar bis 1. Mai 2016 die zwei Preisträger des 23. Videokunst Förderpreises in einer Sonderausstellung. Der Videokunst Förderpreis des Filmbüro Bremen e.V. wird jährlich vergeben.

E.S. Mayorga (*1975 in Mexico) wurde der mit 5.000 Euro dotierten Hauptpreis für sein Projekt "The Role Of Fear" zugesprochen. Den zweiten Preis über 1.500 Euro erhielt Sharlene Khan (*1977 in Südafrika) für ihr Projekt "When the moon waxes red". In der Ausstellung werden die prämierten Werke durch weitere Arbeiten der Künstler ergänzt.
Die Jury des Videokunst Förderpreises zeichnet jährlich zwei künstlerische Ideen und Konzepte aus, die anschließend mit Hilfe des Preisgeldes realisiert werden.
