Description

Ludwig XIV., "Erfinder" des klassischen Balletts?! steht 1664 selbst als Tänzer auf der Bühne und lässt sich feiern als "Roi Soleil". Seither hat das klassische Ballett sein Gesicht mehrfach gewandelt. Vorstellungen von Anmut, Grazie und Schwerelosigkeit haben königliche Machtdemonstrationen überlagert. Tanzgeschichte, Raum bezogene Dimensionen und tänzerische Ausdrucksformen - Gertrud Schleising bewegt sich in ihrer Tanzperformance quer durch diese Ebenen des Balletts.
