1. Ausstellungstag "Thomas Hirschhorn. Nachwirkung"

Description

Der international renommierte Konzeptkünstler Thomas Hirschhorn (*1957 in Bern) richtet vom 5. September 2015 bis zum 17. Januar 2016 die Ausstellung "Thomas Hirschhorn. Nachwirkung" in der Kunsthalle Bremen ein. Sein neues temporäres Projekt in Bremen wird seine derzeitige intensive Beschäftigung mit dem Themenkomplex der Ruine, mit dem spezifischen Ort der Kunsthalle Bremen und der Sammlung des Hauses verbinden.

Zuletzt richtete Thomas Hirschhorn 2014 eine viel diskutierte Installationen im Schinkel Pavillon in Berlin ein. 2011 bespielte er den Schweizer Pavillon auf der 54. Biennale in Venedig und 2002 präsentierte er sein Bataille-Monument auf der Documenta11 in Kassel.
