Description
In de Maand van de Filosofie organiseert Atria samen met filosofe Cris van der Hoek drie lezingen over drie vrouwelijke filosofen: Carry van Bruggen, Simone de Beauvoir en Hannah Arendt
Carry van Bruggen (1881 – 1932) schreef behalve romans ook filosofische beschouwingen. Haar hoofdthema is de relatie van het individu tot vormen van collectiviteit als sekse, ras en nationaliteit. Voor haar bestaat er een permanente strijd tussen individu en collectief. Dit conflict uit zich ook in de wijze waarop we de taal gebruiken.
Toegang is gratis maar aanmelden is noodzakelijk. Het aantal plaatsen is beperkt! Als de bijeenkomst vol is, wordt een wachtlijst bijgehouden.
