Opening expositie 'Snowwhite & Sherazade' van Ellen Schippers

Description
In deze expositie plaatst Ellen Schippers de twee vrouwbeelden tegenover elkaar en gaat zo de dialoog aan tussen Oost en West met videoinstallaties, foto’s en poëzie. De tegenstelling tussen het actieve sensuele vrouwbeeld van Sherazade en de passieve dromerigheid van Sneeuwwitje vond Ellen Schippers verrassend.
Op 17 april wordt de expositie feestelijk geopend door Renée Römkens en Naeeda Aurangzeb. De expositie is nog tot en met 16 mei te bewonderen in de bibliotheek van Atria. Snowwhite & Sherazade is de derde editie van het drieluik van haar over vrouwbeelden. De expositie bij Atria is een onderdeel van het SOUK festival.
