Die drei Autorinnen Doris Bewernitz, Julia Christ und Annett Heibel beschließen 2012 einen Krimi über "Rattenlinien", Fluchtwege führender Vertreter des NS-Regimes, nach Bariloche in Argentinien zu schreiben.
Ende Oktober 2013 wird er beim Südwestbuch-Verlag Stuttgart erscheinen. Bei den Frauenkreisen lesen sie aus Ihren Roman zum ersten Mal öffentlich vor. Er handelt von der Kommissarin Verena Mayer-Galotti, deren Suche nach der Wahrheit, in deren Zentrum Erbe und Erben des NS-Regimes stehen, schließlich auf einem Schloss in Südfrankreich gipfelt. In einem Geflecht von Antikenhehlerei, Erpressungen und Auftragsdelikten, sowie zwischen israelischem Geheimdienst und Nachfahren des Dritten Reichs, muss Verena Mayer-Galotti einen kühlen Kopf bewahren.
