Op ons Flirty Thirty Festival ontmoet je inspirerende activistes die in alle hoeken van de wereld op dappere en vaak verrassende wijze vrouwenrechten op de kaart zetten. Zij wakkeren jouw activistische hart aan met zang, debat, fotografie, plastuiten, spoken word, seksspierfitness en méér!

(SHE DEBATES) - Vrouwenrechtenactivisme anno nu
Hoe staat het activisme voor de rechten van vrouwen en meiden ervoor in Nederland en daarbuiten? Waar smeult het en waar laait het vuur hoog op? En wat zijn de ingrediënten van effectieve sociale verandering? Kirsten van der Hul leidt een debat in twee delen met Jet Bussemaker (minister van OCW), Shirin Musa (Femmes for Freedom), Marjorie Boston (creatief directeur van MC Theater), Jessica Horn (bestuurslid Mama Cash), Liz Hilton (Empower, Thailand), Wanja Muguongo (UHAI, Kenia) en Zoe Gudovic (Reconstruction Women’s Fund, Servië). Met afsluitend poëzie van de Antilliaanse dichter en theatermaker T. Martinus.

Karla Lara uit Honduras brengt een muzikale ode aan vogelvrije vrouwen in Midden-Amerika en Mexico. In samenwerking met de Nationale Postcode Loterij.

(SHE LOVES HERSELF) - Workshop ‘Eigenliefde’
Wat is vrouwvriendelijke porno? En hoe versterk je je seksspieren? Ontdek dit en meer in een spannende workshop zonder taboes en met je kleren aan, verzorgd door Mail & Female in samenwerking met de Poolse organisatie Ponton. Er zijn twee workshops, om 20:00 en om 21:30:

(SHE'S RADICAL) - Haar Arabische Lente
Tijdens de nog altijd voortdurende revoluties in het Midden-Oosten zetten vele vrouwen hun leven op het spel door te demonstreren en zich uit te spreken voor hun rechten. Zo ook in Libanon. Midden-Oosten correspondent Monique Samuels interviewt Farah Salka van het feministische collectief Nasawiya over haar ervaringen.

(SHE PLAYS) - Sekswerker Monopoly '7 hours & 55 minutes'
Het Thaise sekswerkerscollectief Empower geeft met een levensgroot, interactief bordspel inzicht in het dagelijks leven van sekswerkers. Speel mee en krijg zo nieuwe inzichten over seksuele autonomie, arbeidsrechten en financiële zekerheid.

Zangeres Lilian Vieira, bekend van Zuco 103, gaat terug naar haar roots: Braziliaanse ‘Samba Rock’ uit de jaren 70. Samen met een groep virtuoze musici geeft zij hier haar geheel eigen draai aan. Blijven stilstaan zal je niet lukken!

Transgenderactivist Andrés van het Chileense OTD presenteert een heftige foto-expositie over translichamen en transidentiteiten en reflecteert op het gebruik van kunst voor activisme. De expositie is de hele avond vrij toegankelijk.

Trans Activist Andrés of the Chilean OTD presents a fierce photo exhibition about trans bodies and trans identities, and reflects on the use of art for activism.

What is the current state of activism for the rights of women and girls in the Netherlands and beyond? Where is it smouldering and where is it turning into a blaze? And what are the key ingredients for effective social change? What is female-friendly porn? And how do you strengthen your sex muscles? Discover this and more in an exciting workshop without taboos and with your clothes on, provided by Mail & Female in co-operation with Ponton, a Polish group that conducts amongst others school-based sexuality education.

Karla Lara from Honduras brings a musical tribute to
women human rights defenders in Central America and
Mexico. In co-operation with the Dutch Postcode Lottery.

Empower, a Thai sex workers collective, provides insight into the daily lives of sex workers using a life-size, interactive board game. Join the game and gain new insights about sexual autonomy, labour rights and financial security.

Many women are risking their lives by demonstrating and speaking out for their rights during the still-ongoing revolutions in the Middle East. This is also the case in Lebanon. Middle East correspondent Monique Samuel interviews Farah Salka of Nasawiya, a radical feminist collective, about her experiences.
