Wie die Menschen der westlichen Welt seit über 100 Jahren den „typischen Indianer“ inszenieren, veranschaulicht unsere Direktorin und Amerikanistin, Prof Dr. Wiebke Ahrndt, Interessierten beim Besuch im Schaumagazin. Anhand eines Indianer-Paares zeigt sie den Besuchern, woher die Vorstellungen des „typischen Indianers“ kommen und welche Geschichten diese erzählen können – von der Vergangenheit des Übersee-Museums, über die Ausstellungskonzeption des Indianer-Paares bis hin zum Leben nordamerikanischer Indianer. Kosten: 8,50 € inkl. 1 Stück Kuchen und Kaffee
