Description
New York war schon immer der Schmelztiegel verschiedener Musikkulturen. Das verkörpert mehr denn je Hazmat Modine, eine der angesagtesten Bands der Stadt, die die Wurzeln der amerikanischen Musik mit verschiedenen Formen der Weltmusik vermischt. Das Ergebnis ist einzigartig: Blues, Country, Jazz und Soul der 1920er und 30er Jahre bis in die 50er und 60er Jahre hinein trifft mit der Energie einer rumänischen Brassband auf Klezmer, jamaikanischen Calypso, New Orleans R&B, Swing und Avantgarde Jazz.
