Description
82 Prozent der in Deutschland eingekauften Blumen stammen aus Südländern wie Kolumbien, Ecuador, Kenia, Israel oder Spanien. Bei diesem Fachseminar sollen die Arbeitsbedingungen auf den Blumenfarmen und ökologische Probleme thematisiert werden. Außerdem werden die Möglichkeiten des nachhaltigen Blumeneinkaufs (bzw. der nachhaltigen Beschaffung durch die öffentliche Hand) besprochen.
Im Anschluss an das Seminar wird die Wanderausstellung „fair flowers" eröffnet, in der die widersprüchlichen Aspekte des Themas globale Blumenproduktion in Form großer Bildformate, Multimedia- und Entdeckungselemente dargestellt werden.
