Sappho hat geliebt, getrunken, gesungen, geschrieben, gelehrt, gebetet, gesehnt, genervt - und das vor 3000 Jahren auf Lesbos.
Das Duo Barbara Lucassen (Text und Gesang) und Susanne Gulich (Klavier und Komposition) nimmt Sapphos Texte und führt nicht nur ins archaische Griechenland, sondern auch in jenes archaische Land im Herzen einer jeden Frau.
Sie erzählen von Familienzwistigkeiten, von doofen Konkurentinnen, von pubertierenden Töchtern, vom Altwerden und von der Liebesgöttin, die immer wieder Fallen stellt.
Aphrodite und Eros sind eingeladen und der Wein fließt auch wieder in Strömen.
