Einmal im Monat sprechen Experten in kindgerechten Vorträgen über spannende Themen wie Navigation, Tiefseeforschung oder Kartografie.
Heute benutzt man GPS oder Telekommunikation auf seinen Reisen, doch wie funktionierte eigentlich die Navigation ohne diese Hilfsmittel? Peter Irminger, Professor für Schifffahrtsrecht und Navigation a. D. der Hochschule Bremen, ist selbst Kapitän und erklärt auf dieser Wissensreise aus erster Hand, wie moderne Navigation sich entwickelt hat. Da die Teilnehmerzahl begrenzt ist, wird um Anmeldung unter 0421 160 38 178 oder kinderclub@uebersee-museum.de gebeten. Kosten: 2,- €/ Eintritt frei für Mitglieder des Maki-Kinderclubs
