Description

In vielen Kulturen ranken sich Mythen um besondere kunsthandwerkliche Erzeugnisse. So auch in Indonesien bei dem besonderen Dolch, der auch Keris genannt wird. Neben seiner besonderen Ästhetik und seiner langen Geschichte wird ihm in vielen Mythen eine eigene Seele zugesprochen. Matthias Mangels berichtet über die Verbindung von Kunsthandwerk, Mythen und Tradition an diesem Beispiel.
