Bremen. Aus dem sicheren Berlin folgte Dr. Abed Schokry 2007 einem Ruf an die Universität Gaza und kehrte in seine Heimat zurück. Seit fünf Jahren lebt er nun mit seiner Familie dort. Dort erlebte er die militärische Invasion der israelischen Armee 2008/2009, deren traumatische Auswirkungen bis heute anhalten. Authentisch berichtet er vom Leben in Gaza – und richtet seinen Blick auch auf die Situation von Kindern und Jugendlichen. Die Veranstaltung mit Dr. Abed Schokry (Universität Gaza) findet am Donnerstag, 19. Juli, 19 Uhr, im DGB-Haus, Bahnhofsplatz 22-28, statt.
