Auf dem Basar werden Bücher und Kalender, Kunstgewerbe, Handarbeiten, Marmelade, Brot und Kekse angeboten.
Ab 19:30 hält die Journalistin Karin Leukefeld einen Vortrag und berichtet über ihre Recherchen und Erfahrungen. Sie vermittelt eine Sicht auf die Ereignisse vornehmlich in Syrien, Libyen und Palästina/Israel, die sich von der der gängigen Medien unterscheidet.
Die Initiative sammelt Geld für Projekte in von Armut gezeichneten Regionen und macht zugleich auf die Gründe des Elends auf der Erde aufmerksam. Geldspenden können auf das "Solidaritätskonto Alida Klee" bei der Sparkasse in Bremen, Konto-Nummer 171 5796, Bankleitzahl 29050101, überwiesen werden.
