Film und Gesprächsrunde mit Dr. Katrin Sell
Virginia Woolf gilt neben James Joyce zu den wichtigsten Erzählern des 20. Jahrhunderts. Sie schrieb nicht nur Romane wie „Mrs. Dalloway“ sondern auch bahnbrechende Essays. Einer davon, „Ein eigenes Zimmer“, machte sie zu einer bedeutenden Vorkämpferin der Frauenbewegung und noch heute ist dieser Essay durch seinen Gedankenreichtum und seine stilistische Schönheit ein Meilenstein in der Kunst des Essays.
Der Vortrag will an die berühmte Schriftstellerin erinnern und ihren Essay „Ein eigenes Zimmer“ vorstellen.
