Description

Im Rahmen unserer Ausstellung Freibeuter der Utopie spricht Johannes Stüttgen über die Bestimmung der Kunst.
Wer Johannes Stüttgen ist? Stüttgen wurde 1945 in Freiwaldau im heutigen Tschechien geboren. Er studierte ab 1964 Theologie in Münster bei Joseph Ratzinger. Von 1966 bis 1971 war Stüttgen an der Düsseldorfer Kunstakademie in der Klasse von Joseph Beuys. Zum Schluss als sein Meisterschüler. Sein gesellschaftliches Engagement ist angelehnt an die Ideen von Joseph Beuys, z.B. den „Erweiterten Kunstbegriff“, die Soziale Plastik, die deutsche Bewegung für Direkte Demokratie und der Anthroposophie. Stüttgen lebt als freier Autor und Künstler in Düsseldorf.
Der Eintritt kostet 5,00 Euro/ermäßigt 3,00 Euro.
