This course is created by female gynecologist and yoga masters to prepare a woman's body for soft and stressless delivery, to remove mental tensions and gently recover after delivery. You will learn anatomy of female body with the main focus on delivery, fetus and postnatal changes, and also will learn which asana, pranayama, meditation, and mantra to be used before, during delivery, and after delivery. You will understand how to prepare female body for successful conception.

Starting from January 1st, 2019, Vedansha are happy to offer absolutely great accommodation at reasonable price. Located in Tapovan, far from noisy streets and crowd in a newly built building, they offer single, shared twin, shared double, family suite and comfortable dormitory rooms. This type of accommodation will help you to relax and concentrate on your priorities of training.
There are a total of 12 air-conditioned and 4 non-air-conditioned rooms. Most of the rooms have a wonderful view on Himalayan Mountains. Each room has a big private bathroom and equipped with the following facilities:

Please note that sometimes the power goes off in the whole Rishikesh city area. During these moments, you will have light, air condition, Wi-Fi in your rooms because of the special electricity generator.
Guests will have the choice to stay at Vedansha's retreat center or the hotel. If guests book in the hotel, the classes will be held in Ashram (500 metres from Hotel). Vedansha provides free transportation till there and back. If you book a stay in retreat center, your classes will take place at the same place and Ashram nearby.

Certifications
Students who complete their subsequent trainings are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®). The institute is accredited by International Yoga Alliance USA and follows its policy on sexual misconduct towards the client, that makes all their programs safe and secure for female students.
Program
The Vedansha Insitute of Vedic Sciences and Alternative Medicine is accredited by International Yoga Alliance (USA) and Alternative Medical Council Calcutta (India) provides special education in yoga for supporting the health of women during important parts of their life. After the course, students get an international valid certificate and either could help to prepare a woman for soft delivery, give a woman the possibility to enjoy her happiness or provide supporting service after delivery.
Vedansha Institute of Vedic Science and Alternative Medicine's prenatal / postnatal programs are created by their Guru Ji S.K.Pandey following international standard of International Yoga Alliance.
The program includes allopathic knowledge of women body according to trimester of pregnancy in anatomy, physiology, pathology of pregnancy and delivery process, risks in pregnancy, nutrition, the post-delivery process combined with special yogic / Ayurvedic methods of supporting like asana, yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, naturopathy, mantra, Ayurveda, and astrology. You will also get get important information about your aura problems (chakra imbalance), suggestions of special Vedic practices and herbs.
Pre-requisites
200-hour certificate of yoga teacher training under any accredited institute by International Yoga Alliance school or equal document to prove your skills
This course is designed for people who are already certified yoga teachers, and therefore posses knowledge of yoga postures, yoga philosophy, and pranayama
There will not be extra time spent teaching basic materials. It is assumed that students will already possess this knowledge.
This course is also suitable for health care profesionals, psychologists, all who works with pregnant women or simply for all who wants to support women in pre, post, and intranatal period
Non yoga teachers will not be certified to teach prenatal yoga. You will, however, receive a certificate indicating that you have completed this training course.

Understanding of psychological considerations during pregnancy and how to differentiate between high-risk and non-high-risk pregnancy
Includes yoga techniques specialized to the needs of the pregnant woman, including practice and teaching skills for trimester-specific yoga techniques. Techniques include alignment for the expectant mother, appropriate yoga techniques for each trimester, how to practice yoga techniques safely and relaxation, and stress management techniques
Includes design of lesson plans for the beginning and/or advanced student during each trimester, and human anatomy and physiology (both physical and subtle body) related specifically to considerations during pregnancy. Topics include an overview of what is normal anatomy and physiology during pregnancy, how organs function during pregnancy, an overview of the complications, including miscarriage, premature labor, hypertension, preeclampsia and body mechanics.

Excursies
During the course, according to weather, road conditions, and amount of students, Vedansha will offer different types of excursions in Himalaya and Rishikesh including visit a spiritual temple in Himalaya, meditation in a cave under the guidance of an experienced teacher, visit Ganga aarti, waterfalls, and Beatles Ashram. Sometimes excursion can be changed or replaced with an equal offer if the conditions of weather or any other issue took place.
