THIS MARCH IS CANCELLED
With huge regret we have decided to cancel this event. Our message was always simple - we want to be safe on the streets and expect police to do their jobs to protect us.
However - this was never an invitation to attack the police for what is ultimately a government decision. At the risk of being infiltrated by extreme groups which will distort our message we have decided to not proceed.
We will continue to protest for change in other ways.
Thanks for your support. Stay Safe.
--------------------------------------------------------------
We will be organising a March from Camden to Finsbury Park on Saturday 27th January. PLEASE SHARE AND INVITE.
We want this to change.
Under the banner of WE WANT OUR STREETS BACK the purpose will be to highlight street safety and to encourage Police and Government to prioritise Crime in our streets over corporate interests.
North London streets and open spaces are under policed and full of dangerous criminals - no woman or man should have to fear their safety whilst going about their legal business.
Juliana Lilith Tudos (Julie/ Iulia) was murdered on Christmas Eve and found by a couple of FRIENDS in Finsbury Park on the 28/12/17.
As the police couldn't do anything before 72h (even though they began a 48h enquiry as a "medium alert", her really worried friends searched the area and found her).
After 2 days, nearly 3.000 shares on Facebook and a few groups searching from a day after, the police's job appeared to be completely negiable until she was found).

We do not want to leave the house scared.
We do not want to return home scared.
We need protection.
If the Police are not enough we need to find solutions, together.
Today's laws are not suitable due to the level of danger that most people experience on the street.
The streets are not safe neither for women, men or children.
If you would like to be involved in the organisation please contact me at mick@monstaents.com with "WE WANT OUR STREETS BACK" as the subject .
This will be a non political, peaceful event - please respect this.
Thank you.
Stay Safe.
