The time has come to march again, to grow our movement and to continue the change we started. Will YOU be a part of the change?
On January 20, 2018, Brevard women and the men who love them will unite on the Eau Galle Causeway to reaffirm our commitment to building a positive and just future for all.
Our March will be one of many events honoring the historic movement that brought out 5 million marchers worldwide on January 21, 2017. We will stand in solidarity with Nationwide events to celebrate the spirit of our resistance efforts over the past year.
We will march and rally for women's rights, human rights, ending violence, reproductive rights, LGBTQIA rights, workers' rights, civil rights, disability rights, immigrant rights, Indigenous people's rights, environmental justice, healthcare reform, racial equality and to encourage participation in 2018 midterm elections.
The women’s marches network will kick off an initiative to register 1 million women to vote in conjunction with voters’ rights organizations. We will harness our collective energy to advocate for policies and candidates that reflect our values. And we will collaborate with our partners to elect more women and progressive candidates to office.
Last year we had nearly 1000 participants.
