Fageteria #2 LAWA fundraiser - Gay disco meets queercore punxxx

We're baaaaack! You didn't think we'd leave you did you? Back at The Montague to bring some added misery to the most miserable of months, come unload ALL your family holiday dramas on the dance floor!!!

We will be raising funds for LAWA - http://lawadv.org.uk who "run person-centred, holistic projects out in the community and at LAWA, identifying BME women and children at risk of abuse and offering a lifeline to those fleeing domestic violence."

Remember going to your provincial gay bar to dance to Black Box and CeCe Peniston and generally feel like you're not being suffocated by whichever tiny town it was your grew up in and then nervously make eyes with that person across the dancefloor and feel like YOU WERE SUDDENLY THE OLDEST OF LOVERS AND THE AFFAIR WAS TORRID AND STORMY BUT ULTIMATELY IT WAS A LOVE FOR THE AGES BUT THEN it all ended when the lights went up and you had to get the last bus home?

Remember going to see ANY hint of queer bands and eagerly waiting to finally see your tribe then suddently realise it's a bunch of annoying hardcore kids just being straight but acting fey *coughbloodbrotherscough* so you just went home and listened to your OutPunk sampler again on repeat and dreamed of one day seeing Limp Wrist?
