What can we do when so many in our community cry out, "Me Too"?
In the wake of the allegations of Harvey Winestein's decades of sexual harassment, social media feeds across the country and in Jewish communities nationwide were flooded with the hashtag #metoo, showing solidarity among those who've been victims of sexual assault and harassment. JOFA wants to bring the online conversation to an in-person gathering where we can create a space to share feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Join us at the UWS Moishe House, where we'll be partnering with Hevria, a forum for creative Jewish articles, for an evening of intimate, meaningful, and thought-provoking dialogue, which we hope will lead to sincere action.
Please join us at 8:00 PM on November 7th for an Open Space Technology meeting of open conversations to process, reflect, share, and take steps toward action.
The UWS Moishe House is in the 100s on West End Ave. Please PM Orly Michaeli for the exact address.
