JUSTIN LEVINSON is an award-winning singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. Fresh off a move Vermont to pursue music full-time on the West Coast, Justin wastes no time in paying homage to his sunny new surroundings with his latest album YES MAN. Hardly a stranger to connecting with audiences through “an intuitive sense for cheery, uptempo pop and effortless hooks” (JESTER JAY MUSIC), Justin ups the ante with YES MAN, a ten-song ode to love, adventure, and confusion that conjures up the spirits of power pop ancestors The Beach Boys and The Zombies, while sung and performed with a timeless spirit and renewed optimism. Drawing from personal experiences, YES MAN chronicles the missteps of its titular character, a lost soul continually hampered by his inability to answer for himself. Dressing his distress in a mix of old-school hooks, jangly guitars, double-tracked vocals, mellotrons, and dreamy harmonies, Justin continues to convey his words in a direct and uncompromising way, backed by musical arrangements ambitious enough to tell the story themselves.
