Candlelight Vigil for Democracy / Łańcuch Światła

In response to the Polish ruling party's (PIS) undemocratic move to take control over the justice system in Poland, we are calling on our friends in London to light a candle with us, in solidarity with thousands of people protesting on the streets of Poland this week. Let’s send a message to the Polish president Andrzej Duda, asking him to veto a bill which would stand in the way of fair elections, and would allow for judges to be nominated and controlled by PIS. In a country where women’s rights are gradually diminishing since PIS got into power, we believe that this threat to democracy is a threat to women's lives. It is also a threat to Europe and democratic values. Help us send a clear signal! Show your solidarity!
