Tea + Poetry with It's Not Personal

Shakespeare was a woman (maybe).

Unleash your inner poet with It's Not Personal at our Tea + Poetry workshop, hosted by INP co-founder Vanessa Gattinella and Pastel Co. We will read and discuss a few poems by a variety of modern and not-so-modern female poets that touch on the themes of love, heartbreak, resilience, and self-empowerment. We'll share tips on sparking poetic creativity, and then we'll pen our own poems. At the end of the workshop, we'll have time to share with the group and provide feedback.

Tea + Poetry is presented in collaboration with Pastel Co., a high tea catering company aiming to bring people together. During the workshop, we'll enjoy some delicious tea snacks (like scones!) and we'll learn a little about tea, too.

About It's Not Personal: Founded by Sara Radin and Vanessa Gattinella, It's Not Personal is an inclusive, femme-centric dating collective and growing anthology. INP creates opportunities for women to share their dating experiences in safe spaces and empowers women to find comfort in their relationship status, whatever that may be. We inspire women to have a healthy relationship with themselves through the tools of art and writing. INP does workshops, events and has a monthly column with Bust Magazine Online, as well as works to raise money for RAINN.

About The Pastel Co.: The Pastel Co. was formed by Alice Wilson, a long time lover of all things fabulous and fun. Living in a city like New York, it can be hard to catch a breath sometimes.
