Finally - we are back! We’re excited to welcome you to the start of the new season at one of our favourite places in Berlin: The beautiful Klunkerkranich. For the right kick-off, we were able to drag two acts out of their studios, where they were hiding in the last few months: HELMUT and Pause Applause.
It’s music with a view. We are welcoming you for drinks, good music and a spectacular view all over this beautiful town!
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
HELMUT
Unspectacular name - spectacular music. Using an orchestra of effect pedals and loop stations, HELMUT layers one guitar melody on top of each other, while also beatboxing and singing. His unique approach to electronic-pop has been critically acclaimed and rewarded him with an album on Haldern Pop Recordings and Support-Gigs for the likes of Beirut, Käptn Peng und die Tentakel von Delphi, and many others.

Pause Applause
Pause Applause is a berlin-based indie-pop trio, who bring the sun and warmth of New Zealand to Berlin’s grey and cold winter. Uplifting melodies, danceable rhythms: Pause Applause are the perfect start into our new season.
