ISLANDMAN INFO:
Istanbul-based Tolga Büyük started his solo project Islandman in 2010. Already a part of Istanbuls psychedelic scene with the live-performing band Farfara, he took with him the loose improvisation practice and explored through Islandman his love for afrobeat, kraut & ambient. The resulting brew of mainly instrumental tracks is a laid back, funky and mind-expanding world of both acoustic instruments, field recordings and crisp electronics. While some sense of his Anatolian roots are evident in his more folky tracks, Islandman has more in common with the international balearic music scene in his invocations of influences. Having already self-released several digital EPs and one LP, as well as playing live in Turkey on a regular basis, it’s about time the rest of the world gets to know this amazing musical mind. For this occasion he will perform together with his Farfara bandmate Eralp Güven on percussion.

TALES FROM THE WOODS INFO:
Not much information has been revealed about Tales From The Woods formerly known as Waldschrat, but his trippy downbeat mixtapes circulate briskly among lovers of slow dance music. We are happy to have him on board for one one of his quite rare public dj sets!

FOG PUMA INFO:
Mystic Moods host Fog Puma, who borrowed his artist name from an obscure, surrealistic Gunvor Nelson and Dorothy Wiley film, is always on the search for the outer edges of danceable music. His sets are percussive, dubby, preferably psychedelic and most likely driving relaxed in slower to mid tempo areas.
