Men's Open Mic Night

Join us for our 2nd Annual Men's Open Mic Night hosted by Carl Pendleton of the Norman Police Department!

Men's Open Mic Night came in to fruition after the Women's Resource Center sought out a need to provide a creative platform for men to speak out against domestic violence. Domestic violence is not just a women's issue; it's everyone's issue, and it's important to join forces to not only raise awareness but to also eliminate this violence in our community. This work takes a village.

We invite men to perform music, live art, poetry, spoken word, a story, and more. Each participant has 10 minutes to do whatever it is they feel called to. If you're interested in performing please email Vanessa at wrcnorman@gmail.com.
