Off to the Races ZeroK & 5K

NormanNEXT is excited to host its inaugural ‘Off to the Races’ 5K and ZeroK event on Saturday, April 21st, 2018! This is a fun family event with food trucks and music that is open to all ages.

Kentucky Derby-themed costumes are strongly encouraged (cannot interfere with other runners). Finisher medals will be given to all 5K participants. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female 5K finishers in each age group. T-shirts are only guaranteed if registered by March 30th.

NormanNEXT ZeroK will begin at 11am in Reaves Park. This part of our day will be filled with family friendly games for runners and non-runners including a Stick Horse Competition, Derby Ball, Blinker Dash, Furlong Fury and an obstacle course, Jockey Jog. Each game will start on the half hour marks.

Schedule of Events:
7 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Registrations and Packet Pick Up
9 a.m. - 5K Begins
10:15 a.m. - Winner Awards of Top Finishers
10:30 a.m. - Mike Hosty Performs and Food Trucks Open
11 a.m. - ZeroK Games Begin
11 a.m. - FREE Photo Booth prints when you use #NNOfftotheRaces

Proceeds raised during this event will go to benefit Women's Resource Center of Norman.
