The National Women's Law Center invites you to join millennial women, advocates, and organizers from across D.C. at Busboys and Poets (14th & V) for a screening of the short documentary film Women’s March and a discussion on the state of women’s rights and activism a year after the historic Women’s March.

The panel will feature Fatima Goss Graves, President & CEO of NWLC, and Brittany Packnett, Vice President of National Community Alliances for Teach for America, in a conversation about resistance, hope, and the ongoing work for liberation and justice. WOMEN'S MARCH - about the film
On January 21, 2017, hundreds of thousands of women marched on Washington, DC. That same day, hundreds of sister marches took place across the country and around the world.

For some people, it was their first time marching.For others, it was the continuation of a decades-long fight for human rights, dignity, and justice. For all, it was an opportunity to make their voices heard.

It grew into the largest one-day protest in American history.
