A Catwalk for Power Resistance and Hope

International Women's Day 2018: we are extremely excited to announce a collaboration between Act Up Women and the Women’s Room – Positively UK’s peer lead support group for women with HIV to organise an event for International Women’s Day 2018. The Positive Women Fashion Show and Party.

The aim of the event is to increase awareness of how HIV affects women in the UK, and to create an opportunity to increase visibility of women with HIV as strong, creative and resilient, and not as ‘victims’ We aim to educate and entertain, holding a platform to celebrate the collective and individual power of women with HIV, and highlight the essential role of women only peer lead space.

Expect glamour, laughter, music creativity and dance!
